DM Templates
Control the message a member receives when a rule acts.
When an Automod rule acts on a member, you can have Mody send them a direct message explaining what happened. DM templates are the reusable messages those notices are built from.
Writing a template
From the Automod page, open DM templates and write the message a member should receive. Keep it clear about what they did and what to do next, for example how to appeal or where to read the rules.
A rule points at a template, so you can reuse one notice across several rules, or write a different tone for different offenses.
A member only receives the DM if they share a server with Mody and allow direct messages from server members. If their DMs are closed, the rule's action still applies, the member just won't get the notice.
